Your Details

Please remember, this is just an information tool. We would always recommend you speak to a debt advisor for the most appropriate way to resolve your debt problems.
We'll give you an on-screen recommendation and call you. One of our advisors will be in touch to answer any questions you may have about your results.
Your privacy is important to us. All correspondence is held in the strictest confidence and we will only request information required to find your debt solution.

Should I apply for a Debt Relief Order?

If you cannot afford to repay your debts and you haven't got any valuable assets, a Debt Relief Order might be right for you. However, before you apply, you need to find out if you're eligible to enter one. Just answer the following questions:

  • Do you owe £15,000 or less?
  • If you own assets, are they worth £300 or less in total?
  • Do you have £50 or less available to spend every month after paying all other usual household expenses?

If you answered 'yes' to all of three of these questions, and you are not involved in any other insolvency proceedings (such as an IVA or bankruptcy), a Debt Relief Order may be the right debt solution for you.

Talk to one of our advisers and find out if you should apply for a Debt Relief Order - something we can help you to do.

How to apply for a Debt Relief Order

You can only apply for a Debt Relief Order through an 'approved Intermediary'. All About Money is an approved Intermediary, which means we can complete the DRO application form for you.

A DRO is only one form of insolvency. Our advisers will be able to tell you whether another insolvency solution, such as bankruptcy or an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) would be more appropriate.

Completing the DRO application form

You won't have to fill in the DRO application form yourself. We can help you by completing it on your behalf.

When you apply for a DRO, you can pay the £90 application fee in instalments if you need to. We are here to help you deal with your debt and we want to make sure the process is affordable for you and runs as smoothly as possible.

How you can help us to help you

We'll need to ask you about your financial situation and you'll need to make sure you give us all the necessary figures. That's because when you apply for a Debt Relief Order, we need to tell the official receiver about all of your assets and liabilities. The official receiver decides whether or not you can enter into a DRO.

You'll need to know the names of all your lenders and their addresses. We will put these details into your DRO application form.

We will do everything we can to make sure the DRO is successful, but we'll need you to help us - if the official receiver comes back to us with more questions, we'll need to be able to contact you to find out everything they need to know.

Finding a way out of debt can lift a burden from your shoulders and give you a fresh start, so simply call one of our advisers today if you want to apply for a DRO.

Even if a DRO isn't right for you, we have other debt solutions for all kinds of problem debts - call us today and we can help you find the debt solution that fits!
